Day 1 - I hit the gym with all the other new years resolutioners. Good on us for getting off the couch!
Just a 3km jog today, Im feeling all those weeks of crappy food and alcohol.
I did the 3km in 21.56. Im hoping to get under 20min in the not too distant future.
Weigh in this morning revealed a dastardly weight gain. Since my half marathon a few months ago all I have done is eat and not run much.
Currant weight is 69.3kg. I still havent dug up my tape measure, but Ill do an update when Ive found it.
1 down - 364 runs to go!
ETA - tape measure has been found!! Tummy is 83cm, butt is 103cm

3 Sleeps to go till I start! Eeeeek
3 sleeps until I kick off my year of running every day.
Im going to do a monthly update of running stats (total kms run) as well as my measurements (kg, waist and butt measurements).
Im trying not to over think this too much, just get out and run every day. The biggest hurdles I can see for now are when Dan is away working.
We are heading over to Singapore for a week from the 10th Jan and the day after we get home Dan heads off to Japan for a week for work urgh.
I think running on the day we get home and the next day are going to be a challenge.
Anyhoo, Ill see how I go and play it by ear.

The Challenge!
If its not scary, then its not worth doing.

We are still a week or so off the big NYE for 2014 but Ive been giving some thought to what my new years resolution should be.
What Ive come up with is a blatant steal from a friend who aimed (and as far as I know has completed) to run every single day in 2013.
It just seems completely mad and unachievable. Its a really really big challenge and Im not entirely sure I will succeed, but Im going to give it a red hot go.
The rules are that I will run no less than 3km each day in 2014. The exceptions are if I am very unwell or if I am injured.
Lets see how I go.
